As some of you may have heard the FDA announced a shortage of Adderall on October 12, 2022. Since then, patients have been struggling to fill their prescriptions. Because so many patients were switched to different medications, finding those meds has also become more difficult.
Because of the challenges we are facing, we recommend that patients who are on ADHD medication do their med rechecks 10-15 days before they are out of meds. That way, you and your provider can ensure that you have time to find a pharmacy that has the medication in stock. Please ensure you call our office and make those appointments in a timely manner or self-schedule by following this link.
