Prevent the unthinkable from happening. Never leave your child in the car (even for one minute) If you run an errand and your child is in a rear carseat - take her with you- no matter how short the errand. To remember that your child is in the car put your purse in the back seat or put one of her toys in the front seat to remind you she is in the back.
